Two Down, Two To Go!

Yesterday was the first day of school for Samantha and Spencer. (Christopher and Andrea start on Monday) I have to say that I wasn't as sad as last year to send Samantha off to school yesterday, I couldn't be, she was too excited to see all of her friends and she truly loves to learn. Last year sending her to Jr. High felt like I was throwing her into the lions den. I cried on and off all day, so many times I wanted to go back and get her. Well she survived and so this year my sadness was only that I will miss spending the day with her (and the free day time babysitting too!)

(She really was excited to go! I think maybe she is tired of the 1st day picture routine)

Spencer started preschool yesterday. It was his first, first day of school. He officially started preschool last Feb. So this year he enjoyed getting a new outfit and backpack with the other kids. He has the same teacher which was helpful for both of us. I did cry on the drive home, but we invited a friend and her daughter to come swim with Andrea and I, so my mind was kept busy and I didn't dwell on it to much. He had a great day and can't wait to go back today, he gets to bring snack and show in tell!

Call me on Monday and I'll cry/rejoice with you :) It's so crazy that the summer is over and the kids are back in the routine of things! No for it to cool off!!

Love it - I think I am in the boat you were in last year with a new junior higher. Ugh - makes me sad and like I posted - a love/hate thing!

Oldest and youngest gone. That is always a sad day. Spencer is so adorable with his big boy backpack. I love it. I bet Samantha couldn't wait to go. My kids were the same way they just wanted to see their friends and find out who was in their classes.

I love seeing everyones back to school pics. Although I'm getting a little jealous. Pre school for Emry and Summer doesn't star until Sept. 1st.

Hunter is doing the young learners through Mesa schools. He turns five in October. He will go everyday.

What are you going to do all day? :) I know I should enjoy my time with the little ones because it goes so fast. It's just on the SLOW days that I'd trade you places. :)

Hey Shannon it's absolutely amazing but your little girl looks exactly like you in Jr. High...Of course I remember you and I think I actually e-mailed you when that mutual friend of mine told me she was in your ward. You were also a person I could never forget. You stood out to me as the kind of person I wanted to be like. Always kind to anyone, nonjudgmental and always sincere. Was it Julie Arave (Olsen)that told me she was in your ward? Yes and I miss the Ridds they were a great family in my home ward last I knew she had baby twins. thanks for the shout out. Can I add you to my list on my blogg? Ooops I did already. Yeah it's already November time to blog! Just do one a month and that's good enough.
